1. Visit HIPUSA.com, and click "Provider Search" on the right-hand side of the screen.
   
   
2. Select Member or Non-Member (if you select Member you will need to enter your Member ID number). Then select the type of medical provider you are looking for - select hospital.
   
   
3. Next you will be required to put in your state, county, zip code, and facility type.
   Enter the information required to generate search results.

Search Tips:

• If you search by name, you need to enter the hospital's name exactly the way it appears in HIP's database - we recommend searching by county in New York.
• To search for participating hospitals in New Jersey or Connecticut, leave the county field blank.
• If you want to search for a specific type of hospital facility, click on one of the options under Facility Type. For regular hospitals, select "Participating Hospital"
• If you search by zip code, your results will only include hospitals located within that specific zip code, not the surrounding areas
