Each year, we survey our membership to explore current issues impacting the independent workforce.

This year’s questions pertain to issues that have long affected freelancers—worker misclassification, unpaid wages, unemployment, and health insurance—but which may have changed over the past year, especially given the economic climate.

A high level of participation in the survey is important because the information collected significantly informs our advocacy campaigns for the independent workforce. Survey responses provide the data we need to focus our efforts on the issues that are impacting respondents most critically, and we share relevant data with policymakers to help effect concrete change.
