Have a problem you can't get resolved?
The Problem Resolution Team is here to help.

  • If you don't know where to turn or what to do to get your problem solved, we'll point you in the right direction.
  • If you've got a complicated issue, we'll stick with you through the process of resolving it.
  • If you have a complaint about customer service or your coverage, we'll investigate the issue and use your feedback to make improvements.

Contact us with the following information:

  1. Which insurance you are having difficulty with (i.e. health, dental);
  2. When you contacted your insurance company (FIC or Guardian);
  3. What we can help you with; and
  4. How your insurance company's customer service didn't meet your needs (if applicable).
Email us at complaints@freelancersunion.org, and we'll get in touch to work on your case. The Problem Resolution Team investigates all cases thoroughly, so for immediate assistance make sure to contact the insurance company first.

To make sure we're compliant with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), we cannot speak to third parties–including family members, doctors, or employers–about a member without receiving written permission from the member to do so.
