E-signing for contracts

Hello! I am a freelance copyeditor setting up shop. My question concerns contracts and getting both parties to sign. I know that I could probably get a scanner and have the client sign a scanned contract and send it back to me, but I'm trying to come up with a quicker way to do contracts that's the least involved for the client as possible. Has anyone had any experience with some e-signing software (either free or paid) that makes doing contracts easier? Or, perhaps, a different way of going about contracts that might be easier for the client?
I would appreciate any and all kinds of advice regarding this subject. Thank you!

  • Update: I have signed up for Bonsai, which seems to have a pretty good e-signing system, plus the ability to copy-paste your own contract into the e-signature software. It does require a subscription fee. Has anyone else used Bonsai in the past? Good experience? Bad experience?

P.S. If you are a freelance copyeditor and would like to talk about what I put in my contract, feel free to get in touch with me.
