Hi Everyone, I'd like to know if anyone has had any experience working through Outsource.com I am reluctant to pay for their "credits". It seems like the opposite to most employment, in which the hiring company or individual pays fees. Should I beware or give it a try?

  • Hi Joan,

I've never tried Outsource. There are many freelance sites out there where its free, Freelancer.com, Guru.com, PPH.com and Elance. I do pay if there is enough work coming through to justify it. But that's only on one site I use out of all of them. As far as I know, clients never pay to post jobs. I do get work through all these sites.

  • Thank you, Kris. I haven't tried any of those except Elance, so I'll be looking into the other sites.

  • I have tried Outsource, and I'm not too impressed. There seem to be a lot of jobs, but some are pulled off Craigslist, and others are people wanting you to do things like write a letter to their dad for Father's Day or help them with a request for a promotion. If you want more than $30 an hour, you can pretty much forget it. I doubt I'll renew when my subscription runs out.

  • Hey Kris,
Thank you for the advice. I haven't tried before those sites but for sure i am gonna try these site.

    Thank you
