Hello! Hope this is right place to ask this (rather boring) question: can anyone recommend an Android-friendly budgeting app which works well with irregular income?

  • Have you just tired doing a search and see what you get? Sorry if I seem forward but just seems like the logic thing to do.

  • Thanks, Scott. I had managed that step on my own ;-) Just looking for any peer recommendations which might save time installing and trying out lots of apps with similar descriptions.

  • Mint and You Need A Budget seem to be popular, would be great to hear if anyone has found one better than the other for handling fluctuating income. My monthly income varies a lot at the moment!

  • see all this social crap does nothing for me....

  • Hey Sarah--there are few new apps out there that can help even out your income (look up Even), but in my experience the best way to deal with fluctuating income is to make sure you're charging enough for your services and then to be sensible with your income! It helps, too, if you can get your clients paying on a reliable schedule.
