Freelancers Hub is a community space designed to help New York City's freelancers thrive!
Join us for free coworking, educational workshops, legal and financial clinics, benefits assistance, and community events.
Cowork for free four times a month in our beautiful space in DUMBO, Brooklyn.
Freelancers Hub is located in the Made in New York Media Center by IFP, a collaborative space in DUMBO featuring classrooms, conference rooms, a library, state-of-the-art 72-seat theater, media arts gallery, and café.

Freelancers Hub is operated by Freelancers Union in partnership with the Made in NY Media Center by IFP and the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment.
Freelancers Hub represents a historic and first-of-its-kind public/private partnership to serve freelancers. We hope it will serve as a model for freelancers across the country.
Who can attend events?
Freelancers Hub is open to anyone who lives or works in New York City. All of our core services and events are offered for free.
Is Freelancers Hub for Freelancers Union members only?
No! Freelancers Hub is open to everyone living and working in New York City. Attend workshops, coworking, and all Freelancers Hub activities by registering in advance. Registering for Freelancers Hub will also make you a member of Freelancers Union--membership is free and gives you access to resources and community to help you and your business thrive.
How much does it cost?
All of our core services and events at Freelancers Hub--including coworking--are offered for free.
How does coworking work?
Coworking is free and open to the community from 9am to 5pm, Monday-Friday. You must register in advance and agree to comply with our community guidelines. Individuals are permitted to cowork at Freelancers Hub up to four days per month.
Can I teach a class?
We are accepting proposals for workshops, classes, and event ideas on a rolling basis via this form. All workshops, classes, and event ideas should be oriented toward the freelancing community and fall within our designated areas of interest: freelancing 101 skills, contracts and legal issues for freelancers, networking and community building, health and wellness, and finances and budgeting.

I live outside of New York. When will we get a Freelancers Hub in my area?
For the time being, Freelancers Hub exists solely in New York City through a partnership with the Made in New York Media Center by IFP and the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment.
